Redpoints Oil paintings
Hi friends,

Real grazy, isn't it.......Redpoint go's into the oil paint.
Well let me get you out off that dream right away.

In the early day's (and thats a long time ago) when i married my wife we had to startup making a new home wich means, no money, no plants, and the most terrible part.......nothing on the wall.

So we wend to the Art Gallery to look for a nice painting and tuning up the wals in our new house.

Arrived in the gallery we saw a expensive oilpainting wich whas 16 x 18 cm with a price of 35 pounds..........we where shocked and we drived home with a bad feeling .........
When we got home i told my wife (with my big mouth) that i could do that myself with less money and better quality.

I bought some Talens Oilpaint, some canvas and started to paint.
First i copied the lines from some early christmascards with reproductions from painters like Schelfhout, Koekoek en Ruysdeal (all Dutch masterpainters)
I started some lessons but after two lessons i stopped as quick as i started (they wanted me to paint apples and bananas).

I whas looking out for a wintershape and not for apples so i quit and made my first painting at home.

The first painting whas taking a lot of time, asked a lot time and tested my nervs in the firth degree.
I had something in my mind, i should be better than the thing i didn't buy.
A used a lot of time to figure out mixing the right colors of paint.

After some months i decided that i reached my level making a good wintershape and did i buy a frame in the Art Gallery.
Believe it or not, but the salesman in the Art Shop asked me if i want to sell the painting.
I think that whas the best compliment a starting painter can get..........my first painting for sale, he must be joking, with me
and nothing real on the wall.
After some experiment with reflections on the ice i decided to give a try painting other materials (the can with the famous appel :-)
After starting another function on the job i couldn't  find the time anymore and i stopped painting. (but with something on the walls).

3 years ago i bought my first PC and i started making art in Photoshop and later with the most likeable Bryce.

Photoshop as my basic program and Bryce for my needs making perfection and reflection with no needs for new paint, pensels and canvas.
Anyway i hope you like this page and understand what whas basic for the way i use Bryce.
Never ask me again how i got interested on Bryce, look at my paintings and you know.
With regards, Redpoint
